[ARCHIVED] Tree Decorating Contest | Concurso de Decoración de Árboles

The Glenwood Springs Community Center is inviting you and your class or group to partner and participate in the 2nd Annual Tree Decorating Contest. We love the spirit of the season and want you to help us spread cheer! We are asking classroom students and teachers, clubs and groups, preschools, and all mentors of children to decorate trees in our front lobby with creative, handmade decorations. On December 30th , the tree voted the most spirited and creative will win a free 1-day group pass to the Glenwood Springs Community Center! This 1-day group pass includes the gymnasium, climbing wall, swimming in the pool, and an event room for lunch! We hope that you will help us spread joy this season by partnering with the Community Center! If you would like to register your group, contact Nicole Wenger at the Community Center so we can reserve your tree to decorate, nicole.wenger@cogs.us or 970-384-6310.  

TREE DECORATING RULES

  1. All ornaments must be handmade.
  2. There must be a noticeable theme to the decorations.
  3. Create a sign that states your school’s name and class/grade or group.  
  4. Fun making the ornaments is a top priority!
  5. Choose your tree: green, black, or white
  6. Schedule a time with Nicole to come to the Community Center and decorate the tree.
  7. Your class/group does not need to be present at the time of voting.
  8. Decorating Deadline: December 23rd.
  9. Please plan to pick-up your ornaments by January 9th, 2023.  

Nicole will contact you to let you know if your class/group has won the 1-day group pass by January 3, 2023. Let's spread some merriment together this season!

El Community Center de Glenwood Springs los invita a usted, a su clase o grupo a asociarse y participar en el Segundo Concurso Anual de Decoración de Árboles. Nos encanta el espíritu de la temporada y queremos que nos ayuden a difundir la ilusión! Estamos pidiendo a los estudiantes y maestros de aula, clubes y grupos, preescolares y todos los mentores de niños que decoren árboles en nuestro vestíbulo principal con decoraciones creativas hechas a mano. El 30 de Diciembre, el árbol votado como el más animado y creativo ganará un pase de grupo de UN DIA  gratis para el Community Center de Glenwood Springs. ¡Este pase de grupo de 1 día incluye el gimnasio, el muro de escalada, natación en la piscina, y una sala de eventos para el almuerzo! Si desea inscribir a su grupo, contacte a Nicole Wenger en el Community Center para que podamos reservar su árbol para decorar, nicole.wenger@cogs.us o 970-384-6310.   

REGLAS PARA LA DECORACIÓN DEL ÁRBOL  

  1. Todos los adornos deben ser hechos a mano.
  2. Debe haber un tema destacable en los adornos.
  3. Elabore un cartel que indique el nombre de su escuela y la clase/grado o grupo.
  4. ¡La diversión en la elaboración de los adornos es una prioridad absoluta!
  5. Elija su árbol: verde, negro o blanco.
  6. Programe una hora con Nicole para venir al Community Center y decorar el árbol.
  7. No es necesario que su clase/grupo esté presente en el momento de la votación.
  8. Fecha límite para decorar: 23 de Diciembre.
  9. Por favor, tenga previsto recoger sus adornos antes del 9 de Enero de 2023.

Nicole se pondrá en contacto con usted para informarle si su clase/grupo ha ganado el pase de grupo de 1 día antes del 3 de Enero de 2023. ¡Vamos a repartir un poco de alegría juntos en esta temporada!
